This note was published by Acting for Life in October 2018. It is based on experience gained between 2015 and 2018 in Mali (particularly the Project to Support Stonework Professions, supported by Agence Française de Développement) and Burkina Faso (particularly the READY Project, supported by the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation).
